Making notes

The two colours are carried together through the whole piece rather than banded, so they twist over one another and the surface reads as one colour from a distance and two up close.

The clay base is left unglazed. It grounds the piece, and it means the vessel sits without rocking.

Care

Dust with a soft brush. Plant-dyed fibre softens in strong light — keep it out of a sunny window.

These notes are draft wording retained for Meg’s review. Meg will confirm the materials, dimensions and care for each piece.
