Art & weaving

Let your hands find the words.

Colour, texture and the rhythm of making. Two creative pathways, with space for them to meet.

Arranged directly with Meg by phone or text
Bundles of dyed raffia in green, yellow, orange, pink and black stacked on a shelf by a window
Botanical lino prints in green and red beside blue cyanotypes on green baize

It doesn’t have to look like anything.

Making here is an invitation to explore through materials. Drawing, painting, collage, clay and visual journalling can offer different ways to express an idea. Ask Meg how art and weaving sessions are arranged.

You don’t need to think of yourself as an artist. The focus is the experience of making, not producing something for an audience.

Over. Under. A little closer.

Weaving brings attention to something tangible: the feel of fibre, the turn of a thread, the slow arrival of a form. There is room for learning and for simply enjoying the process.

Explore natural fibres, coiling and personal pieces at your own pace. The conversation can continue while your hands are occupied, or the making can be enough.

Curiosity is enough.

You don’t have to choose between talking and making before you begin. Ask Meg what might fit where you are today.
